Over the coming weeks, I would like to illustrate this through a few companies I have recently had the privilege to discover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is also the beginning of a new personal journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After more than three decades leading and advising established businesses, I have started investing as a Business Angel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is a different world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Less predictable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Closer to the customer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And, perhaps surprisingly, full of optimism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of my very first encounters was with Laboratoire \u00dcMA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Its mission is both simple and ambitious: helping women improve their quality of life during and after menopause through natural, science-based, hormone-free solutions combining herbal medicine and micronutrition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What impressed me was not only the mission itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It was the execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A founder with remarkable clarity of vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n An unwavering belief in his products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A disciplined commercial approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And early business results demonstrating that purpose and performance can go hand in hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Too often, we hear that Europe has become too cautious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That France can no longer produce tomorrow’s champions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That innovation inevitably happens somewhere else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n My first experience as a Business Angel tells me a different story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I discovered founders who think big.<\/p>\n\n\n\n An ecosystem capable of providing expertise, mentoring and capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And investors willing to back entrepreneurs prepared to solve real problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Supporting the well-being of half of humanity through natural and evidence-based solutions is both an ambitious mission and a meaningful one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I sincerely wish the entire \u00dcMA team every success they deserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For me, this first steps has been more than a financial commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It has been a reminder that innovation is alive, entrepreneurship is thriving, and optimism is still a rational strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Next week, I’ll share another company tackling a completely different challenge\u2014but with the same entrepreneurial energy.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" In my previous post, I wrote that structural change only becomes real when entrepreneurs transform ideas into operational business models.
